GOAL MACHINE

- Can play with BOTH feet, head.

- Excellent first touch control (ground and aerial control).

- Ability to play with back to goal.

- Pass quality over short distances (combination play).

- Ability to finish with a range of techniques (side foot, laces).

TEAM IN POSSESSION

- Movement – ability to get in between defenders.

- Movement – ability to drag opponents out of position to create

space / overloads for others. Look to receive and go forward (shoot, dribble,

1v1, combination play).

Flick with feet and head in order to combine with 3rd man runners - 8/10 & 7/11 

TEAM NOT IN POSSESSION

- Intelligent - Knowing when to press and when to sit deeper in play 

- Recovery / positional interchange in transition.

- Stong communication with teammates.

- Ability to apply pressure and prevent an opposition counter.

- Intelligence to close spaces as a team to pressure the opposition into mistakes / giveaways
